Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

This policy applies to Together Progress.

The short version: We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we try to be good stewards of whatever you share with us.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account info — your email address and name when you sign up
  • Payment info — handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number
  • Content you create — your journeys, principles, activities, and progress data

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data — what features you use, how often, general patterns
  • Device info — browser type, operating system, screen size
  • Log data — IP address, access times, pages viewed

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don’t use tracking cookies for advertising.

What we don’t collect

  • We don’t track you across the web
  • We don’t buy data about you from third parties
  • We don’t use your content to train AI models
  • We don’t collect data from children under 13

How we use your data

We use your information to:

  • Run the service — store your data, sync across devices, send you notifications
  • Improve the product — understand how people use features, fix bugs, build better tools
  • Communicate with you — respond to support requests, send important updates
  • Process payments — charge your card, send receipts, handle refunds

That’s it. We don’t use your data for advertising. We don’t sell it. We don’t share it with data brokers.

Who we share data with

We share data only when necessary:

  • Service providers — companies that help us run the service (hosting, email, payments). They’re bound by contract to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements — if we’re legally compelled to disclose information, we will. We’ll notify you when possible.

We don’t share your data with advertisers, marketers, or anyone else.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on secure servers in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow industry security practices and regularly review our systems.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — see what we have about you
  • Export your data — download everything in a portable format
  • Correct your data — fix anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your data — remove your account and all associated data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@togetherprogress.com.

If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. We honor all of them — just ask.

Data retention

  • Active accounts — we keep your data as long as your account is active
  • Cancelled accounts — we delete your data within 60 days of cancellation
  • Backups — may persist up to 90 days, then they’re purged

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top and notify you via email for significant changes.
